Confused about deciding a career

Today many of us are surfing daily on the internet and we are finding different career options which seem very interesting but when we try to get into that career we simply lose our interest. Do you know why it is so? It is because today with this fast-moving world we all are having a habit of succeeding fast into our life. But let me clear your doubt here. Our life in terms of technology has become fast but not in the process of achieving a successful and happy life. We have to go through the grinding of the process and then only we can achieve a good life. Today when we want to listen to a song we simply open up an application and enjoy it. When we want some dress or a product at home we simply order it from e-commerce sites and the product gets delivered to us in a very short period. We do not need to go out in sun and search for it in shops. Technology has made all things very simple and easy for us. And that’s the main reason why many students and young job professionals are dissatisfied and unhappy in few months of joining and become very hopeless and helpless. We are today having a habit of achieving everything in a simple phenomenon that is “Sure Short Success”? Everyone needs this in their life but my friend you need to understand that life doesn’t work in this way.

For achieving something great and living a free and peaceful life you have to dwell in the process of certain things. Do a simple exercise – Ask your friends and seniors in your network what they want to achieve in their life? What they want to become? What do they want from their life?

Most people will come with the answers like they want so much money so that they could have financial freedom in their life some would tell you that they want to lead a business by sitting on the highest chair of that business. Some want money so that they can own a private bungalow and supercars with private planes. Of course, this all so stunning while listening and also makes us feel that yes this person can achieve because when they communicate all these things to you they have a spark and charm in their eyes and have a fire equivalent energy into their blood.

What we see today on internet is not real so use your personal intelligence and act accordingly.

Now just add one more question to your conversation with them. Do you have any plans and roadmap on how will you achieve all the dreams you are planning for? About 90% of the people will feel lost and would immediately go into self-doubt. That weather would they be able to achieve this one day or they would just talk and talk for it always.

Let me clarify with the answer - When we see the life of successful people and influencers on social media we immediately get into them and think into our minds that one day our lives would be like this. And this is the biggest lie. Whatever we see on social media today is not 100% true. We got to understand that. Every individual in this world has to live his own story and we are the only ones who can create our own story. Because no one is going to help us in the path. Of course, people will help you but only when you will start something for your development.

So my simple advice and request you all of you is that please don’t get so much influenced by the things you see and study on the internet. In this everything has a process. When we were born we were infants, and slowly we become children then teenagers and after that we become adults. No one becomes an adult just after a few, seconds of birth.

We got to understand this theory that all the projects in this world have a process involved in them. So learn to live and enjoy that process don’t be so much dependent on the results.

So, from this post, I would, like to give you a very simple and effective message that does not get involved with the fruits that we will receive after results get involved in the processes and enjoy that.

1. When you feel something of your kind on social media. Locate that thing and research them completely. Keep your subjective feeling about the process and finances you would require to achieve that on the side. Just look into all the aspects and future opportunities. You will find that for many things you will lose interest in between and that are the things which don’t belong to your life.

2. Make a list of all the talents and skills you have and start searching for careers that fit you the most. Today for one skill and competency there are about 5 career options. So figure out yourself first before getting onto something.

3. Connect with people of that industry and the people who are into that process. Talk to them ask them what this particular career option teaches you what can you do the most. You will receive answers to most of your questions. Connect them through LinkedIn.

4. While deciding on a career do not limit yourself with any ropes. A human can go to any extent if he wants to. Believe in yourself and crack it.

5. The purpose of your life should have an impactful and expressive life. Not just to earn money being materialistic. You should find your purpose in life and that can be different for everyone. So don’t worry.
